For the black wearing, contemporary, androgynous type like myself, Kris Van Assche A/W 2010 boots are the best way to go. Simply paired with distressed black skinny jeans and a charcoal knit jumper, there's no way one should go wrong.

What I personally love abut Kris' aesthetic is the awkwardness his collections seem to possess (yet still very sellable). It's as though the 'Dior Homme' designer makes a creation without giving it a full sense of direction but rather leaving us to make up our own style, similar to a movie director who ends a film on a cliffhanger but the audience is like "NOOOOO" even though the best part is that it allows the audience to use their minds creatively.

The boots are available in a couple of months when Autumn/Winter pieces will be stocked in stores.

'Valentine's Day' | The Movie

 

I've been counting the seconds until the release of this film and every trailer I snag on 'Youtube' excites me that much more.

It's a must see.

Being the researcher that I am, I searched high and low, far and wide, short and long (smiles) for everything I could find about this movie and in my search I found that there are a lot of people who anticipate this movie will be a "pile of s***" or a "waste of time" etc .. (you get my drift).

Personally I would like to counteract those opinions because as a singleton, films like 'Valentines day' (no matter how corny) make us feel less miserable about being single and all alone with no-one to feed us strawberries and chocolate, or make us dinner and take us to movies while we make out and watch other singletons as they gaze miserably.

(Don't look at me as though you've never done it before ..)

Caroline was raised between Vienna and Tyrol and came to London to be an accountant .. (interesting). She rather decided to become a stylist as a form of expression.

Vogue's Anna Wintour apparently spotted her at the wedding of Arthur Mornington and Jemma Kidd and put her on the committee for the "Costume Institute Gala" in 2005 (She and Selma Blair were the only two people Karl Lagerfeld allowed to wear Chanel to that event).
